E-Commerce Manager

Job Description Overview:

The Customer Development Manager is responsible for driving growth across all E-Com platforms. They will develop strategy through maintaining current reports, monitoring key metrics, and partnering with the Amazon Vendor Manager. The individual will support the VP of Sales with selling activities, developing a long-term E-Com plan, internal deliverables (weekly sales performance, forecasting, QBRs, etc), customer systems (ie: Vendor Central, etc.), as well as manage the P&L.

Job Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute our brand and category growth strategy that aligns with the customer.

· Utilize data from different sources to develop and maintain reporting to identify trends and insights to be communicated to the organization.

· Manage the E-Com assortment to drive sales and profitability.

· Oversee merchandising and sale activities for our marketplace customers on both Seller Central (3P) and Vendor Central (1P).

· Identify new opportunities for growth through analyzing Amazon data, market share insights, and competitor analysis.

· Maintain clear understanding of customer objectives to help execute sales plan and measure results.

· Partner with existing digital marketing resources to drive sales growth on our marketplaces by delivering improved sell-through, market share improvement, increased average order value and brand awareness.

· Uncover and execute new Amazon initiatives that will improve the customer experience and increase overall business.

· Manage daily business in partnership with customers, including: UPC product/item setup, maintenance, ticketing, promotional events, logistics, and inventory management.

· Specific Focus areas:

o E-Com/Amazon

o P&L Management

o Innovation launches

o Weekly and Monthly reporting, sales analytics and insights; understand go-to-market strategy and how to maximize sales efficiency.

o Stay up to date on best practices and new features

Qualifications & Skills:

· 3-5 years’ Amazon sales, P&L management, or related experience (1P and 3P ideal)

· Prior experience manipulating trends and insights to form a long term strategy

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines

· Knowledge regarding relationship management, experience and mindset to work with partners in building initiatives that deliver on goals

· Strong cross functional relationships with assigned accounts

· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required

· Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
