Job Description Overview:
This individual leads the team that sources and procures specific areas of spend and develops and manages relationships with cross- functional Senior Business Leaders. This position also contributes to the overall leadership to manage sourcing policy, process and systems to ensure a compliant and efficacious sourcing process.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement category strategies and sourcing initiatives and how to effectively manage change. Direct execution of market research in various areas, resulting in robust Category Strategies. Keeps abreast of market conditions and maintain an agile mindset to flex resources as needed to meet changing business needs.
• Develop and implement master plan for segment for external manufacturing. This includes compliance, business process improvements, technology needs, performance metrics, reporting, and evaluation.
• Lead development yearly sourcing plan for segment of Procurement. Must deliver goods and services that meet or exceed customer expectations while delivering productivity/ cost avoidance of 3-5% annually.

• Direct management of Procurement Bidding Calendar and Monthly Tracking across segment of Procurement.
• Identify improvement opportunities and needs in Procurement process and systems; lead development of approaches and materials for use by multiple level users within the Procurement function and with other functions/ business units that utilize Procurement systems.
• Manage supplier negotiations on large scale or confidential initiatives.
• Monitor supplier performance formally through supplier scorecards and Quarterly Business Review Process. Set up proper governance on large scale relationships.
• Lead stakeholder management for their segment of Spend. Ensure that the proper stakeholder management processes are enabled.
• Lead to ensure optimized agreements with suppliers to deliver the greatest overall value. Monitor supplier performance on an ongoing basis and develop improvement plans as required. Manage annual budgeting process and monthly Purchasing-Price- Variance process.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Background in Procurement and exposure to various categories and operating models. Has the ability to work and communicate effectively at all levels and functions of the organization. Hands on management experience in developing and implementing new suppliers and business solutions in different operating environments. Experience working in other supply chain and broader business functions is preferred.
• 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility.

Compensation: $100,000-$150,000
