Sr. Recruiting Specialist

Position Overview:

The Sr. Recruiting Specialist is responsible for full lifecycle recruitment of top talent across multiple business units, including high-volume hourly roles. This position will source, screen, interview, and close exceptional candidates for open roles. This is a high-visibility position that partners closely with hiring managers to develop innovative sourcing strategies and drive efficient hiring processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment process for assigned roles across the organization.
  • Utilize creative sourcing techniques to build talent pipelines of passive and active candidates.
  • Conduct candidate screening, interviews, reference checks, and skill assessments.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Execute sourcing plans to target qualified, diverse candidate pools.
  • Leverage recruiting technology, social media, job boards, and employee referrals.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience that promotes the company’s brand.
  • Assist with analyzing metrics and provide reporting on key recruiting performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of labor laws, employment regulations, and recruiting best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting databases.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Expertise in sourcing, interviewing, negotiating, and closing candidates.

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to both the office setting and food manufacturing facility.
  • Significant amount of time working at a computer station.
  • Occasional visits to various areas of the manufacturing floor.
  • Must wear required PPE while in all manufacturing areas.
  • Moving parts and machinery are present in the plant.

Phsyical Demands:

  • Frequent sitting, standing, or walking.
  • Occasional ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to physically perform functions of repetitive motion, grasping, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, balancing, and climbing.
  • Noise levels will vary, higher noise levels exist while in the plant operations areas.
