Brand Manager of Body Fortress – Base & Innovation

Job Description Overview

The brand manager will lead brand growth by developing brand vision, strategy and direction; shaping consumer and retailer engagement strategies; building product innovation roadmap, launching innovations and executing go to market strategy; and executing key brand growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Brand operating plan and effectively steward the P&L to achieve net sales and profitability goals.
  • Achieve annual KPIs to improve brand health metrics by developing and executing robust consumer engagement strategy and plans.
  • Lead innovation projects through the Stage Gate process, partnering with cross functional teams and retailers to build best-in-class products with launch plans that ensure in-market success.
  • Develop breakthrough integrated marketing campaigns with SMEs with emphasis on digital and social media.
  • Assist in portfolio performance optimization and management of product assortment to maximize profit.
  • Manage brand marketing budget successfully and accurately.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in brand management, brand marketing, or marketing management with proven success driving complex projects forward.
  • Proven ability to analyze the business and develop strategies and programs that have driven business results.
  • Understanding the concepts of full product development and innovation philosophy.
  • Consumer first mindset and deep understanding of the retailer landscape (i.e. Amazon, B&M).
  • Ability to build collaborative partnerships, establish trust & credibility and inspire across all levels of leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to get things done in a complex system, with powerful sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Attention to detail, balanced with an ability to prioritize issues and propose solutions to new and complex situations.
  • Strategic thinker able to identify long-term opportunities and trends.
  • Experience with IRI, Nielsen and Syndicated Retailer Data ideal.

Base compensation: $100,000 to $130,000
